Terrence L. Bracy has managed many successful legislative
campaigns in Congress. One of the founders of the original firm, Bracy
Williams & Company, he is known for his expertise on the environment,
infrastructure, transportation, regulation and urban development.
His skills grow out of a 30-year career which includes a decade as a legislative
professional on Capitol Hill, where he played a major role in the formative environmental
legislation of the 1970's as well as the Campaign Reform Acts of 1971 and 1974.
Later, he served as Assistant Secretary of Transportation. In the private sector,
he has counseled Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, cities and international
clients seeking assistance in Washington.
Mr. Bracy currently chairs the Morris K. Udall Foundation, an independent federal
agency authorized through bipartisan action to pursue Udall’s goal of better-informed
environmental debate and charged with the establishment and operation of the
U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution.
He has been published in the New York Times, St. Louis Post Dispatch, Washington
Post and Golf Magazine. He has lectured at many educational venues, including
the Brookings Institution, Harvard University, St. Louis University, and the
University of Arizona, where he received his graduate degree in political science.
